Claire & Nick: a two centre wedding celebration

Ever since meeting Claire and Nick for their pre-wedding shoot, we’ve been looking forward to seeing them again for their Big Day. Apart from being ridiculously good-looking, they also happen to be lovely people too, and being privy to some of the details of the day made us excited about being part of it.

Meanwhile, in downtown Monmouth…

After a wedding, when Cam and I get home and upload all the images onto the computer, one of our favourite things to do is to grab a cuppa and go through the images. They are sorted by “capture time” so it is particularly fun during the preparation stages to see what the bride and groom are up to at the same time, in different locations. I love the image above of Nick looking at his watch, which happened to conincide within minutes of Claire slipping on her dress…

It was really important for Claire to get married at her family church in Monmouth, and with the choir singing, it was truly a moving ceremony. What I loved though, is Claire and Nick’s home now, is in Bristol – so after the ceremony, everyone was chauffeured on a vintage Routemaster to the RWA Bristol for the reception. It was a perfect combination of the past and present, and I thought it came together beautifully.

Claire and Nick your day was a true celebration, thank you for choosing us to capture it for you. You guys are full of laughter, pull the best Blue Steel faces, and I know will have a lifetime of happiness ahead!
