I love all weddings, but I have to say, ones which end with a London pub reception, are a definite favourite. We had shot at The Londesborough earlier this year, so knew it was a fabulous reception venue (with AMAZING food!) and Emma and Steven really made it their own with the wonderful decorations and flowers.
The afternoon started at the Stoke Newington Town Hall, and Emma pulled up looking exquisite in her Temperley dress. The bouquet of brightly coloured blooms contrasted perfectly with her dress, and added a splash of colour and informality to the celebrations. I think this is what I loved most about the day, the sheer class and elegance of Emma mixed with the unbridled giddy joy she felt about marrying Steven. It was such a delight to witness and capture.
There was also a line in Steven’s speech which really moved me. Emma and Steven had met for the first time when Emma did some Summer work at the company Steven worked for. In his speech Steven said he noticed Emma from the first day and used to wonder what it might be like to date a girl like her. A decade on, he is standing there as her husband. Talk about dreams coming true. That’s why I love this job.
