Sometimes things don’t go to plan; but what results often turns out better than the best laid plans. Lucy was late for the ceremony (not that Ben minded, or was surprised for that matter) but it did mean that the registrars had to cut their involvement in the ceremony short. However upon departing following the legal requirements, Ben’s best men stepped up to the mark and the ceremony took on a whole new vibe. Intimate, laid back and full of laughs, it was rounded up with a musical rendition of All You Need Is Love replete with kazoos. Perfect. Just perfect.

It seems to have been a long while since I’ve posted a pre-wedding shoot, so I thought I would end the drought with the gorgeous Katie and Andrew. Getting married in November, this is going to be one beautiful, elegant yet relaxed affair.

Relaxed, joyous, fun and personal – were the words Sam and Joe used to describe the vision they had for their big day, and after meeting them at their pre-wedding shoot, we were looking forward to seeing them both again. These guys certainly translated their relaxed ideas into a tastefully homespun and wholly laid-back celebration; and it was really great to see their plans materialise in a super-fun, sun filled day with some great reckless dancing!
