Lindsey & Mark: Hampshire pre-wedding shoot


After a run of gorgeous weather, storm clouds gathered at the weekend, and we braced ourselves for a rainy shoot. Lindsey and Mark were so warm and easy going about the unpredictable weather in emails leading up to the day, in the end it wouldn’t have mattered either way. As it was, we had the best of both worlds – a little filtered light mixed with the smell of fresh rain… perfect for a love shoot.

Lindsey and Mark are a wonderful couple, who have to spend long periods of time apart (Mark’s work can take him away for up to 9 weeks at a time), but they clearly more than make up for it when they are together. There’s a lot of love and laughter in this couple.

PS. I got to peek at a picture of The Dress. Lindsey, you’re going to look beautiful!

Happy Friday

I have to be honest and say I’ve been feeling a little poo this week.
What I thought was hayfever is actually a stinkin’ cold, and I’ve been feeling a little sorry for myself.
It’s not been so bad these last couple of days, and whilst dosed up on pharmaceuticals (that’s something I’m grateful for!) I can actually function relatively normally, but at night, the moment I lie down the coughing starts. Not fun. For me or Cam.

So what am I grateful for this week, other than the aforementioned drugs?
Well I think it has to be my fabulous husband, who not only doesn’t complain, but does everything humanly possible to make things easier for me. He walks the boys, makes me tea with honey, and plays with my hair. He’s been doing the business accounts, cooked an awesome BBQ and did the weekly shop for me.
Yes I am lucky; and I’m grateful for him every day, but today he gets a special mention.

Thanks for being awesome, Cam.

Funny you should post this, my Leon cooked me dinner last night for the first time since Dec 2006. It was a Jamie Oliver recipe and was fantastic! I shall no longer accept “I don’t know how to cook” as an excuse.
